Description
Stalk your victims through 1980s America in this co-op roguelike assassination game. Improvise brutal kills with everyday objects, terrorize your targets, and get revenge solo or with friends. Hunt across iconic horror locations such as a summer camp, small town, farm, and a sprawling mansion.
Features
The year is 1982. At Camp Shady Pines, a cruel prank went wrong and you and your friend were left for dead. The ultra-rich parents of the campers who did this to you covered it all up. Now it's time for revenge.
Get Revenge In Your Own Way - Use anything you can find to kill your targets. Wield traditional weapons like knives and axes, or improvise with whatever is nearby. Beat someone to death with a turkey leg, smash their head in with a guitar, or bash them to death with their friend’s severed arm. Every item has unique properties: noise, durability, throw distance, damage type and more. Some can also be used creatively, like exploding a propane tank in a campfire, picking locks with a screwdriver, or blinding enemies with a flashlight.
Use Disguises - This is not an action game. To survive, you’ll need to use stealth, manipulation, and fear. Steal disguises to infiltrate areas and strike when the time is right. If you are wearing an appropriate disguise, most characters will not notice you.
Unleash Terror - Your goal isn’t to stay hidden forever. It’s revenge. The more terrified your victims become, the more mistakes they make. Panic causes people to trip, separate from the group, or investigate places they absolutely shouldn’t.
A Rogue-Like Assassination Game - Gone Feral is a roguelike game where failure has consequences. You can't simply reload your save and try again.
As you play you will level up your character and unlock special powers. You can also slowly build up your lair by unlocking additional weapons, morbid decorations, new tools and areas. If you fail, you will be back. Revenge never dies.
Every time you play a level, it will be different. The overall layout is the same, but all the locations, items and targets will be randomized.
Play Solo or With Friends Online - Gone Feral can be played as a single player game or you can team up with your friends online to get revenge together.
Travel To Iconic Horror Locations - Your targets are scattered across multiple locations, each with their own unique challenges and items to use to get revenge. Go back to the summer camp where it all started, stalk the suburbs, hunt them down on a farm, fill a small town with fear, slaughter them at a sprawling mansion estate and more.
A Dark Synthwave Soundtrack - Gone Feral features a dark synthwave score inspired by 1980s horror films with a modern edge. The music is composed by Clifford Meyer, formerly of ISIS and Red Sparowes. He previously composed the soundtrack for The Axis Unseen, a heavy metal horror game from Just Purkey Games.
